Job Duties:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons to KS1 students
  • Assess and evaluate students' progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Create a positive learning environment that promotes student growth and development
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student learning and well-being
  • Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and other school-related activities

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Knowledge of the KS1 curriculum and teaching methods
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to effectively manage a classroom and meet the diverse needs of students

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching in a KS1 classroom

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of child development and learning theories
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all students
  • Proficient in using educational technology to enhance teaching and learning

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
  • Experience working with students with diverse learning needs

Working Conditions:

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
