Job Duties:
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons for Key Stage 1 students
- Assess and provide feedback on student progress
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student performance
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching Key Stage 1 students
- Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 1 curriculum
Education:
A degree in Education or relevant field
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching Key Stage 1 students
Knowledge and Skills:
- Excellent classroom management skills
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in using educational technology
Preferred Qualifications:
- Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
- Experience working in a multicultural environment
Working Conditions:
The role involves working in a classroom setting with Key Stage 1 students. Some additional hours may be required for lesson planning and assessment.
