Job Duties:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons for Key Stage 1 students
  • Assess and record students' progress, providing feedback and support as needed
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support students' development
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development activities

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching Key Stage 1 students
  • Knowledge of the UK National Curriculum
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a primary school setting

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of child development and learning theories
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Proficient in using technology to enhance teaching and learning

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
  • Specialist training in teaching Key Stage 1 curriculum

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
