Job Duties:

The KS1 Class Teacher will be responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing lessons to primary school students in accordance with the national curriculum. This includes creating engaging and interactive learning experiences, managing classroom behaviour, and providing feedback to students and parents.

Required Qualifications:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant teaching qualification. Up-to-date knowledge of the KS1 curriculum and teaching methods. Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Education:

A degree in Education or a related field.

Experience:

Previous experience teaching in KS1 classrooms is preferred.

Knowledge and Skills:

Strong knowledge of the national curriculum for KS1. Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all students. Effective classroom management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Additional training in Special Educational Needs (SEN) and experience working with diverse student populations.

Working Conditions:

The role involves working full-time hours during school term times. The teacher will be based in a primary school in Romford, Greater London.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
