Job Duties:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons to Key Stage 1 students
  • Assess and record student progress, providing constructive feedback
  • Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student development
  • Participate in school events and meetings as required

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching in a Key Stage 1 setting
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the national curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively

Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field
  • Proven experience working with Key Stage 1 students
  • Demonstrated understanding of child development and learning theories
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of individual students

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Additional certifications in Special Education or Early Years Education
  • Experience using technology in the classroom
  • Participation in ongoing professional development and training

Working Conditions:

  • Work hours: Full-Time, Monday to Friday

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
