Job Duties:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons to Key Stage 1 students
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support
  • Create a positive learning environment that encourages student participation
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student development
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching Key Stage 1 curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years' experience as a KS1 Class Teacher

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of Key Stage 1 curriculum and assessment practises
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Effective classroom management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate certificate in Education
  • Experience working with students with special educational needs

Working Conditions:

  • Work in a classroom setting within a primary school
  • Full-time hours, temporary position

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
