Job Duties:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons to Key Stage 1 students
  • Assess and monitor student progress
  • Provide feedback to students, parents, and senior leadership
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall learning experience

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching Key Stage 1 students
  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum

Education:

Degree in Education or relevant field

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in a primary school setting

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Excellent classroom management skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all students
  • Commitment to continuous professional development

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Education
  • Experience working with diverse student populations

Working Conditions:

This role involves working within a school setting, following the school calendar and timetable. The teacher may need to participate in extracurricular activities or meetings outside regular school hours.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
