Job Duties:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons for Key Stage 1 students
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support where necessary
- Create a positive learning environment that promotes student participation and engagement
- Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student development
- Attend meetings, training sessions, and school events as required
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching Key Stage 1 students
- Strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in a primary school setting
Knowledge and Skills:
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students
- Effective classroom management skills
- Proficient in using educational technology to enhance learning
Preferred Qualifications:
- Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
- Experience working with students with special educational needs
- Participation in relevant professional development courses or workshops
Working Conditions:
- Work in a school environment with regular classroom teaching responsibilities
- Full-time hours, Monday to Friday
- Potential for participation in extracurricular activities or school events
- Temporary position with the possibility of extension

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
