Job Duties:

  • Planning, preparing, and delivering engaging and interactive lessons to Key Stage 1 students
  • Assessing and evaluating students' progress and providing feedback
  • Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborating with colleagues and parents to support student development
  • Participating in staff meetings and professional development activities

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience working with Key Stage 1 students
  • Knowledge of the National Curriculum

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a KS1 Class Teacher

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
  • Additional training in special educational needs (SEN) or safeguarding

Working Conditions:

The role involves working in a school setting, following school hours and term dates. Some additional hours may be required for planning and assessment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
