Job Duties:
The KS1 Class Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons to primary school students, assessing student progress, and providing feedback to both students and parents. They will create a positive and inclusive learning environment, manage classroom behaviour, and collaborate with colleagues to ensure the overall success of the students.
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - Experience working with KS1 students - Strong understanding of the UK national curriculum - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching in a primary school setting
Knowledge and Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of KS1 curriculum and assessment practises - Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students - Strong classroom management skills - Proficient in using technology to enhance teaching and learning
Preferred Qualifications:
- Postgraduate qualification in Education - Experience with special educational needs (SEN) students - Participation in relevant continuous professional development (CPD) courses
Working Conditions:
The KS1 Class Teacher will work in a primary school setting, following the school calendar and timetable. They may be required to attend staff meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and other school events outside of regular school hours.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
