Job Duties:

  • Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to Key Stage One students
  • Implement effective teaching strategies to support student learning
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback to students and parents
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver high-quality lessons

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching Key Stage One students
  • Strong knowledge of the Key Stage One curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in Key Stage One

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of child development and effective teaching methods
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Strong classroom management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
  • Specialist training in Key Stage One teaching

Working Conditions:

This role involves working in a school setting with Key Stage One students. The teacher will be required to work full-time hours on a temporary basis. The working environment is dynamic and fast-paced, requiring flexibility and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
