Job Duties:

The Key Stage 2 Teacher will be responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering engaging lessons to primary school students. They will assess and monitor student progress, provide feedback to students and parents, and collaborate with colleagues to create a positive learning environment.

Required Qualifications:

A valid teaching qualification and QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) are essential. Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum and experience in teaching primary school students are required.

Education:

A Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field is required.

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching Key Stage 2 students.

Knowledge and Skills:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students, strong classroom management skills, and a passion for education.

Preferred Qualifications:

Additional certifications in special education or experience working with SEN (Special Educational Needs) students would be advantageous.

Working Conditions:

The Key Stage 2 Teacher will work in a primary school setting, following the school calendar and timetable. They may be required to participate in parent meetings, staff development sessions, and extracurricular activities.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
