Job Duties:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons for Key Stage 2 students
  • Assess and monitor student progress to ensure learning objectives are met
  • Provide a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student development
  • Participate in school events and meetings as required

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching Key Stage 2 curriculum
  • Strong knowledge of UK educational standards and practises

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in Key Stage 2

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Compassionate and empathetic approach to teaching
  • Inclusive teaching practises to cater to diverse student needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Education
  • Experience with special educational needs (SEN) students

Working Conditions:

Work in a school setting, following term dates and school hours. May require participation in extracurricular activities or events.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
