Job Description
Job Duties:
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons for Key Stage 2 students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
- Assess students' abilities and create individualised learning plans
- Implement strategies to support students with SEN in their academic and social development
- Collaborate with other teachers and support staff to ensure a cohesive learning environment
- Regularly communicate with parents and caregivers regarding students' progress
- Maintain accurate records of students' achievements and challenges
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Specialist knowledge and experience in teaching Key Stage 2 students with SEN
- Understanding of SEN Code of Practise and relevant legislation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience teaching Key Stage 2 students with SEN
Knowledge and Skills:
- Knowledge of different learning styles and SEN teaching strategies
- Ability to adapt lessons to meet the diverse needs of students with SEN
- Strong classroom management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Postgraduate qualification in Special Educational Needs
- Training in specific SEN interventions and techniques
Working Conditions:
- Contract position with Full-Time hours

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
