Job Duties:

The Key Stage 2 SEN Teacher will be responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing lessons to support the learning and development of students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum. This includes creating individualised education plans, adapting teaching methods to suit the needs of each student, and providing additional support as required.

Required Qualifications:

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

- Specialisation or experience in teaching students with SEN

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Experience:

Previous experience teaching Key Stage 2 students with SEN

Knowledge and Skills:

- Strong understanding of SEN strategies and best practises

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team

Preferred Qualifications:

- Additional training or certifications in SEN education

- Experience using assistive technology in the classroom

Working Conditions:

The Key Stage 2 SEN Teacher will work in a school environment, collaborating with other teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure the holistic development of students with SEN. The role may involve additional training sessions, parent meetings, and participation in school events.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
