Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Key Stage 1 Teacher to join our team in Bromley, Greater London. As a Key Stage 1 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to young learners, typically aged between 5 and 7 years old. Your primary focus will be on developing students' academic and social skills through engaging lesson plans and activities.
Job Duties:
- Plan and deliver lessons in accordance with the Key Stage 1 curriculum
- Assess and monitor student progress
- Provide a safe and inclusive learning environment
- Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student development
- Attend staff meetings and training sessions as required
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching Key Stage 1 students
- Good understanding of child development and learning theories
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in Key Stage 1
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong classroom management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet individual student needs
Preferred Qualifications:
- Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
- Additional training in special educational needs (SEN) is desirable
Working Conditions:
This role involves working in a school setting during regular school hours. Some additional hours may be required for lesson planning, grading, and meetings.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
