Job Duties:
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and interactive lessons for Key Stage 1 students
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to students, parents, and school leadership
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports the academic and personal development of each student
- Collaborate with colleagues to design and implement effective teaching strategies and interventions
- Participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and professional development activities
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching Key Stage 1 students
- Knowledge of the Key Stage 1 curriculum and assessment requirements
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a Key Stage 1 setting
Knowledge and Skills:
- Understanding of child development and effective teaching methodologies
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students
- Excellent classroom management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
- Experience working with students with special educational needs
Working Conditions:
This role involves working in a school setting with Key Stage 1 students. The teacher will be expected to work regular school hours and participate in extracurricular activities as required.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
