Job Duties:

  • Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to Key Stage 1 and 2 students
  • Plan and prepare educational activities and materials
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to students and parents
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student learning and development
  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Relevant degree in Education or related field
  • Experience working with Key Stage 1 and 2 students

Education:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Experience:

  • At least 2 years of experience teaching Key Stage 1 and 2 students

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Demonstrated leadership abilities
  • Passion for education and working with young learners
  • Approachable and supportive attitude towards students and colleagues
  • Resilient in the face of challenges and able to adapt teaching methods as needed
  • Punctual and reliable in meeting job responsibilities

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Additional certifications in Special Education or relevant areas
  • Experience with diverse student populations

Working Conditions:

  • Work in a school setting with regular hours
  • Interact with students, parents, and colleagues on a daily basis
  • Potential for additional responsibilities such as extracurricular activities or parent meetings

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
