Job Duties:

The Key Stage 1 and 2 Teacher will be responsible for planning, preparing and delivering engaging lessons to primary school students. They will create a positive and inclusive learning environment, assess student progress, and communicate effectively with parents and colleagues.

Required Qualifications:

A recognised teaching qualification and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) are essential. Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 1 and 2 curriculum is required.

Education:

A Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field is required.

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching Key Stage 1 and 2 students in a primary school setting.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Demonstrated passion for teaching and supporting student learning
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students
  • Strong classroom management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Postgraduate qualification in Education or relevant field would be advantageous.

Working Conditions:

The Key Stage 1 and 2 Teacher will work in a primary school setting, following the school term calendar. They will collaborate with colleagues and participate in staff meetings and professional development activities.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
