Job Description:

We are currently seeking a Key Stage 1 and 2 Teacher to join our team in Croydon, Greater London. The ideal candidate will be a passionate and inclusive individual with strong leadership skills.

Job Duties:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons for Key Stage 1 and 2 students
  • Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment
  • Assess and monitor student progress
  • Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development activities

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching Key Stage 1 and 2 curriculum
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years experience teaching Key Stage 1 and 2 students

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Leadership skills
  • Passionate about education
  • Inclusive teaching approach
  • Approachable and supportive attitude
  • Helpful and patient with students

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Additional training in Special Educational Needs (SEN) is desirable
  • Experience working with a diverse student population

Working Conditions:

This is a full-time contract position with expected work hours. The role may involve working with students from diverse backgrounds and abilities.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
