Job Duties:
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and effective lessons for Key Stage 1 and 2 students
- Assess and evaluate student progress, providing feedback and support as needed
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
- Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student development
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and other school events
Required Qualifications:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Enhanced DBS check
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in Key Stage 1 and 2
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong understanding of the Key Stage 1 and 2 curriculum
- Ability to effectively manage a classroom and differentiate instruction
- Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to work in a team
- Excellent time-management and organisational skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
Experience working with diverse student populations
Working Conditions:
This role involves working in a school setting, following term-time schedules and holidays. Some additional hours may be required for planning and assessment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
