Job Description
Job Duties:
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons for Key Stage 1 and 2 students
- Create a positive learning environment that promotes student learning and wellbeing
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to students and parents
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience
- Attend staff meetings and professional development sessions
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching Key Stage 1 and 2 curriculum
- Strong classroom management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in Key Stage 1 and 2
Knowledge and Skills:
- Demonstrated leadership abilities
- Passion for teaching and supporting student development
- Approachable and supportive towards students, colleagues, and parents
- Enthusiastic about creating engaging and inclusive learning environments
- Patient and understanding in addressing student needs
Preferred Qualifications:
- Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
- Additional training or certifications in specific teaching methodologies
Working Conditions:
- Full-time contract position
- Normal working hours with occasional evening or weekend commitments
- Classroom-based teaching with opportunities for outdoor and extracurricular activities

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
