Job Duties:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons for Key Stage 1 and 2 students
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to students and parents
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development activities

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching Key Stage 1 and 2 curriculum
  • Good understanding of UK national curriculum standards

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in Key Stage 1 and 2

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
  • Additional training in special education needs (SEN)

Working Conditions:

This role requires working in a school setting, following the school calendar and timetable. Occasional participation in extracurricular activities may be required.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
