Job Description

As a Key Stage 1 and 2 Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching all areas of the primary curriculum. You will play a crucial role in the progress of a class of primary-age pupils, ensuring they meet their educational milestones.

Job Duties:

  • Teach all areas of the primary curriculum
  • Take responsibility for the progress of a class of primary-age pupils
  • Organise the classroom and learning resources
  • Create displays to encourage a positive learning environment

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
  • Safeguarding training
  • First Aid certification
  • Teaching training

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Organised and efficient
  • Strong communication skills
  • Numeracy and literacy proficiency
  • Hardworking and dedicated
  • Ability to work well within a team
  • Approachable and patient

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Additional training in special education needs (SEN)
  • Experience in implementing innovative teaching methods

Experience as a Fully Qualified Teacher is necessary for this role.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
