Job Duties:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons for Key Stage 1 and 2 students
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to students, parents, and colleagues
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practises and student outcomes
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student attendance and performance
  • Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school events

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching Key Stage 1 and 2 curriculum
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Key Stage 1 and 2 teacher

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Demonstrated leadership abilities
  • Passionate about education and student success
  • Highly organised and able to manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Resilient in the face of challenges
  • Reliable and committed to professional development

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Education
  • Experience working with diverse student populations

Working Conditions:

This role involves working in a school setting, following term-time schedules. The teacher may need to work additional hours for planning and assessment purposes.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
