Job Duties:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons for Key Stage 1 and 2 students
  • Assess and evaluate student progress to provide constructive feedback
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student development
  • Participate in school events and meetings as required

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Relevant degree in Education or related field

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in Key Stage 1 and 2
  • Demonstrated ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong leadership skills
  • Passionate about teaching and fostering student growth
  • Organised and able to manage workload effectively
  • Approachable and able to build positive relationships with students and colleagues
  • Resilient in handling challenges and adapting to changing circumstances
  • Reliable and committed to professional development

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Additional training or certification in Special Education or SENCO
  • Experience with implementing innovative teaching strategies

Working Conditions:

  • Regular school hours with occasional evening or weekend commitments
  • Classroom-based teaching with opportunities for outdoor and extracurricular activities

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
