Job Description:

Job Duties:

The Key Stage 1 and 2 Teacher will be responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering engaging lessons to primary school students. This includes creating a positive learning environment, assessing student progress, and providing feedback to support their development. The teacher will also collaborate with colleagues and parents to ensure the overall well-being and academic success of the students.

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
  • Knowledge of Safeguarding procedures

Education:

A degree in Education or relevant field

Experience:

Prior experience teaching Key Stage 1 and 2 students in a school setting

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Hardworking and dedicated

  • Approachable and compassionate towards students
  • Understanding of different learning styles
  • Punctual and reliable
  • Resilient in facing challenges

Preferred Qualifications:

Additional training in Special Educational Needs (SEN) or other relevant areas

Working Conditions:

The role involves working full-time hours in a primary school in Croydon, Greater London. The teacher will be expected to maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment while adhering to school policies and procedures.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
