Are you a qualified IT teacher looking to join our highly successful IT department in a reputable secondary school?
We are working on behalf of valued secondary schools in Sunderland to offer you the opportunity to support secondary school students in their IT education, fostering an encouraging and inclusive learning environment.
THE CANDIDATE
- Qualified teacher with experience delivering KS 3 and 4 IT
- Previous experience supporting SEN pupils
- Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Passionate about information technology (IT) and education
- Must have, or be willing to, undergo an enhanced DBS check
- Committed to ensuring the safeguarding of young people
THE ROLE
- Planning lesson resources and delivering lessons to students according to curriculum standards.
- Creating assessments and overseeing the completion of exams
- Maintaining student progress records
- Performing updates to operating systems
- Compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
