Humanities Teacher Full Time September 2024
A Calderdale Secondary School is on the search for a teacher who can inspire students to excel in History, Geography, Religious Studies (RS) and Personal Development at KS3 and KS4, as part of their flourishing Humanities Department. The post will be on a full-time basis.

Applicant responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons, across all Humanities subjects, tailored to the individual needs of each student
- Evaluate student progress through assignments, exams and projects, providing constructive feedback to promote development
- Promote positive, inclusive learning environments
- Becoming a role model for students; Inspire students to be passionate about the subject through high quality, updated teaching methods, whilst maintaining a personable character
Applicants must:
- Have Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent with relevant teaching experience
- Have strong knowledge of the Humanities curriculum
- Be eligible to work in the UK
- Be able to provide a minimum of two references from previous teaching roles and all employment/education within the last 2 years
- Hold or be prepared to apply for an enhanced DBS

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
