Job Duties:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in humanities subjects such as History, Geography, and Religious Studies.
- Assess and evaluate students' progress through assignments, exams, and class participation.
- Provide constructive feedback to students to support their learning and development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to design and implement curriculum improvements.
- Participate in departmental meetings and professional development activities.
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Degree in a relevant subject area, such as History, Geography, or Religious Studies.
- Knowledge of the UK national curriculum for humanities subjects.
Education:
Degree in a relevant subject area.
Experience:
Previous experience teaching humanities subjects preferred.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and engage students in the learning process.
- Organisational and time management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Postgraduate qualification in Education.
- Experience working with diverse student populations.
Working Conditions:
- Work in a school setting with classrooms and other educational facilities.
- Full-time temporary position with regular school hours.
- Potential for involvement in extracurricular activities and school events.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
