This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to play a key role in shaping pupils’ education and development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead whole-class lessons in the absence of the teacher, delivering engaging and well-structured activities.
- Provide tailored support to pupils in small groups or on a one-to-one basis to boost learning outcomes.
- Assist teachers with lesson planning, preparation, and resource development.
- Monitor pupil progress, offering constructive feedback and contributing to assessment processes.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting pupil engagement and well-being.
- Support the school’s ethos and policies, contributing to the overall success of the learning community.
Requirements:
- HLTA qualification or equivalent experience in a similar role.
- Proven ability to lead lessons and manage classrooms effectively.
- Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with pupils, staff, and parents.
- A proactive and adaptable approach to supporting diverse learning needs.
- A valid Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
