Job Duties:
- Assist in planning and delivering learning activities under the guidance of a qualified teacher
- Support individual students or small groups in a classroom setting
- Help with the preparation of teaching materials and resources
- Monitor and record student progress
- Supervise students during activities and break times
Required Qualifications:
- GCSEs in English and Maths
- HLTA qualification or equivalent
Education:
Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths
Experience:
Prior experience working in a school setting or with children
Knowledge and Skills:
- Understanding of the national curriculum
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Strong organisational skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- First Aid certification
- Experience working with students with special educational needs
Working Conditions:
This role involves working within a school environment, following term-time schedules. The ability to engage with students of varying abilities and provide support as needed is essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
