The Role

As a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support class teachers with planning and delivering lessons.
  • Lead small groups or whole classes in the teacher’s absence.
  • Provide tailored support to individual pupils, including those with additional needs.
  • Contribute to creating a positive and engaging learning environment.

  • A recognized HLTA qualification or extensive TA experience with a willingness to step up.
  • Experience working across primary or secondary settings, with flexibility to adapt to different year groups.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to deliver pre-planned lessons.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
