Job Duties:

The Higher Level Teaching Assistant will support teachers in the planning, preparation, and delivery of learning activities. They will work with individuals and groups of students, helping to reinforce learning and provide additional support where needed. The role includes assisting in the assessment of students' progress and contributing to the overall educational development of pupils.

Required Qualifications:

- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification

- Enhanced DBS check

Education:

GCSEs in English and Maths

Experience:

Prior experience working in a classroom setting

Knowledge and Skills:

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work effectively as part of a team

- Understanding of safeguarding procedures

Preferred Qualifications:

- First Aid certification

- Specific training in supporting students with special educational needs

Working Conditions:

The role involves working within a school environment, following the school calendar and term times. The Higher Level Teaching Assistant may need to adapt to different classroom settings and work with students of varying ages and abilities.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
