Job Duties:

  • Supporting the classroom teacher in delivering high-quality teaching and learning activities
  • Assisting with the planning and preparation of lessons
  • Working with individual students or small groups to provide additional support
  • Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Assessing and recording student progress

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths
  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification
  • Higher Level Teaching Assistant qualification

Education:

Relevant educational qualifications

Experience:

Prior experience working in a similar role within an educational setting

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Knowledge of educational policies and procedures
  • Good organisation and time management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Additional qualifications in specific subject areas
  • First Aid certification

Working Conditions:

This role involves working within a school environment, collaborating closely with teachers and students. It may require occasional evening or weekend work for school events or meetings.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
