Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) – Bradford

We are looking for a committed and proactive HLTA to provide quality support and cover across a variety of settings. Position Details:

  • Role: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
  • Location: Bradford (various primary schools)
  • Type: Supply – flexible days available
  • Start Date: Immediate or January start available

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality lessons and cover classes in the absence of the teacher, ensuring continuity of learning.
  • Work with small groups and 1:1 to support targeted interventions and help students meet learning objectives.
  • Assist in planning, preparing, and delivering engaging lessons that cater to diverse student needs.
  • Support teachers in managing behaviour, assessing progress, and providing feedback to students and staff.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualified HLTA with proven experience in primary education.
  • Strong understanding of the curriculum and ability to work with pupils across all primary stages.
  • Excellent communication skills and a positive, adaptable approach to classroom management.
  • Passion for fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment.
