We are looking for dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Higher-Level Teaching Assistants (HLTA). If you have a passion for helping children and young people achieve their full potential, we want to hear from you!

As an HLTA, you will provide high-quality support to both groups and individual students, fostering an inclusive learning environment in a Mainstream school setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Delivering targeted support to students with a variety of learning needs and behavioural challenges.
  • Assisting teachers in planning and implementing effective learning strategies.
  • Leading small group sessions and providing 1:1 intervention as necessary.
  • Supporting the assessment of student progress and development.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have prior experience in a teaching assistant or educational support role.
  • Be skilled at working independently while also collaborating effectively with educators.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Hold a degree or equivalent qualification level.
  • Be a confident, resilient, and caring individual dedicated to advancing your career in education and taking on a higher-level role.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
