KS2 HLTA – Supply Role – Wakefield (WF8) – 3 Days per Week
Are you an experienced HLTA looking for a part-time supply role in the WF8 area? We are seeking a dedicated KS2 Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join a 1-form entry primary school in Leeds for 3 days per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging lessons to KS2 students in the absence of the class teacher.
- Provide targeted interventions and support to small groups or 1:1 students, helping them to reach their academic potential.
- Assist in classroom management, maintaining a positive and productive learning environment.
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff to plan and prepare resources.
- Support pupils with additional needs, ensuring they are fully included in classroom activities.
Requirements:
- HLTA qualification or equivalent experience.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to lead lessons confidently.
- Experience working with KS2 students, ideally in a 1-form entry school.
- Flexibility, enthusiasm, and a proactive approach.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
