KS2 HLTA – Supply Role – Wakefield (WF8) – 3 Days per Week

Are you an experienced HLTA looking for a part-time supply role in the WF8 area? We are seeking a dedicated KS2 Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join a 1-form entry primary school in Leeds for 3 days per week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging lessons to KS2 students in the absence of the class teacher.
  • Provide targeted interventions and support to small groups or 1:1 students, helping them to reach their academic potential.
  • Assist in classroom management, maintaining a positive and productive learning environment.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff to plan and prepare resources.
  • Support pupils with additional needs, ensuring they are fully included in classroom activities.

Requirements:

  • HLTA qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to lead lessons confidently.
  • Experience working with KS2 students, ideally in a 1-form entry school.
  • Flexibility, enthusiasm, and a proactive approach.
