Job Duties:

  • Supporting classroom teachers in delivering lessons
  • Assisting with planning and preparing classroom activities
  • Providing one-on-one or small group support to students
  • Helping to manage student behaviour
  • Assisting with administrative tasks as needed

Required Qualifications:

  • GCSEs in English and Maths
  • Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools
  • Experience working in a school setting

Education:

Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths

Experience:

Prior experience working in a school environment

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of educational principles and practises
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team
  • Strong organisational skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Level 4 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools
  • First Aid certification

Working Conditions:

This role involves working in a classroom environment, supporting teachers and students during school hours. The candidate may need to assist with outdoor activities and field trips. The position is temporary and requires full-time availability.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
