Protocol Education are looking for a dynamic and motivated HLTA on behalf of a Primary School within Witham. This individual will need to have at least a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) qualification to join the team, covering Key Stage 2 classes during PPA, ECT and subject release time. This role will be two days a week within the school.

The ideal candidate will have experience and understanding of working alongside and supporting children within an educational setting. An inspirational role model is a desirable trait for this role, working alongside both teachers and the wider school community to establish a supportive and nurturing learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering engaging lessons planned by teachers, promoting learning and development.
  • Supporting pupils within their learning.
  • Create a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment for children to thrive.
  • Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development.
  • Promote positive behaviour  management strategies.

Key Requirements:

  • Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) qualification.
  • Previous experience working with children is desirable but not essential.
  • Positive approach to child development and classroom management.
  • Excellent organisation and communication skills both written and verbally.
  • Demonstrates patience and calmness at all times.
  • An empathetic and inspirational attitude with a genuine passion for supporting the development of children.
