Protocol Education are currently working with an esteemed organisation based in Enfield.

The Headteacher of this mainstream primary school is looking to appoint a motivated and highly skilled HLTA to work across all primary year groups, In this role, you will be responsible for supporting, assessing, and planning learning for students, encouraging them to develop and achieve.

Your duties will include contributing towards learning plans, providing verbal and written feedback, managing behaviour, promoting inclusion, and creating reports. The ideal HLTA will have previous teaching assistant experience and be able to demonstrate they meet the HLTA professional standards.

As a HLTA you will:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver learning to students
  • Assess individuals and create reports
  • Create lesson plans to meet learning objectives
  • Provide support to teachers and pupils
  • Establish and build relationships between pupils, parents, and teachers
  • Manage classwork and ensure safety

Requierments and Expecatations:

  • Excellent English and maths skills
  • Meet the HLTA professional standards
  • Previous teaching assistant experience
  • Able to develop learning strategies
  • Planning and lesson development skills
  • Outstanding verbal communication

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
