About the Role:
As a High-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) in Key Stage 1, you will play a pivotal role in supporting teachers to deliver high-quality education. Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering pre-planned lessons to small groups and whole classes in the teacher's absence.
- Supporting the learning and development of children across Key Stage 1.
- Providing one-to-one and group support for pupils with varying needs.
- Assisting with classroom organisation, resources, and behaviour management.
- Contributing to the assessment and tracking of pupils' progress.
About You:
We are looking for someone who is:
- Qualified to HLTA level or equivalent, with a solid understanding of the KS1 curriculum.
- Experienced in working with children in a primary school setting.
- Passionate about helping children achieve their full potential.
- Adaptable, proactive, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Requirements:
- HLTA qualification or equivalent.
- Relevant experience in Key Stage 1.
- A valid DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
- References covering the last two years of employment.
