A reputable Secondary School based in Kensington & Chelsea is looking to appoint an outstanding Head of Physical Education from 6 January 2025, initially for the Spring Term.
They are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic leader with a real passion for promoting the importance of this subject both in academic lessons (PE is taught at GCSE and A Level/Level 3 BTEC) and across the wider activities of the school.
To lead this highly successful department, the ideal candidate will be a well-qualified graduate and an ambitious and inspirational professional with a proven track record.
The successful candidate will have an excellent understanding of recent innovations in teaching and learning, a secure knowledge of PE theory and relevant experience in terms of involvement in the co-curricular life of the school.
Class sizes are small and teaching allocations are realistic. All school staff are provided with tea and coffee, break-time snacks and a three-course lunch in the school dining room.
If successful, there is potential this can extend to a permanent position.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
