About the Role:
We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Graduate Teaching Assistant (TA) to join our supportive and vibrant school community in Brent. This exciting opportunity is ideal for a recent graduate who is passionate about education and eager to support students’ learning. As a Graduate TA, you will assist in classroom activities, provide one-on-one support for students, and help foster a positive and productive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in delivering engaging lessons and learning activities in the classroom
  • Provide tailored support to individual students or small groups, both inside and outside of the classroom
  • Help with classroom management and ensure a safe and respectful learning environment
  • Support the teacher in planning and preparing learning materials and resources
  • Monitor students’ progress and provide feedback to help them succeed
  • Work closely with teaching staff, parents, and other professionals to support students' development
  • Attend regular staff meetings and contribute to school-wide initiatives

About You:

  • A recent graduate (or about to graduate) with a degree in any subject
  • Passionate about supporting students and helping them achieve their full potential
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
  • Patient, adaptable, and confident in dealing with diverse learners
  • A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn and develop professionally
  • Previous experience in education (e.g., tutoring, mentoring) is desirable, but not essential
