Job Duties:

  • Assist in the preparation of lesson materials
  • Support classroom activities under the supervision of the lead teacher
  • Provide one-on-one assistance to students as needed
  • Help maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Assist with administrative tasks related to teaching

Required Qualifications:

  • A degree in Education or related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team setting

Education:

Degree in Education or related field

Experience:

No prior experience required, but some experience in a classroom setting is beneficial

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of educational principles and practises
  • Ability to adapt to different learning styles
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Additional certifications in education
  • Experience working with diverse student populations

Working Conditions:

This role involves working in a classroom setting, following the school's academic calendar. Part-time hours are expected, with the possibility of additional hours based on the school's needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
