Job Duties:

  • Assist in planning and delivering educational activities under the supervision of a qualified teacher
  • Provide support to students in a classroom setting
  • Help with classroom management and behaviour control
  • Conduct one-on-one tutoring sessions with students
  • Assist in preparing teaching materials and resources

Required Qualifications:

  • A degree in Education or related field
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a team
  • Strong organisational skills

Education:

A degree in Education or related field

Experience:

Previous experience working in an educational setting is desirable but not essential

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Knowledge of educational principles and practises
  • Ability to work with students of varying abilities
  • Strong interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Teaching Assistant certification
  • Experience working with children or young adults

Working Conditions:

This role involves working in a classroom environment under the direction of a qualified teacher. The position is temporary and part-time, with hours as required by the school.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
