Job Duties:

  • Provide support to classroom teachers in planning and delivering lessons
  • Assist with the preparation of classroom materials and resources
  • Work with individual students or small groups to provide additional help and support
  • Supervise students in the classroom and during break times
  • Help to maintain a positive and engaging learning environment

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field
  • Previous experience working in a school setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of educational principles and practises
  • Ability to engage and motivate students
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Teaching assistant qualification
  • Experience working with students with special educational needs

Working Conditions:

The role involves working in a school environment, following the school calendar and timetable. Some flexibility in working hours may be required.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
