We are currently recruiting for a Graduate Teaching Assistants to work in a secondary school in Camden 

This is a full time Teaching Assistant vacancy starting in September 2024,  graduates from all subjects are welcome to apply for this position. 

As a teaching assistant you will be working with students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups, working as part of a team, developing social skills, and supporting students within the community.

By becoming a Teaching Assistant, you can get the experience you require and add more skills to your CV.

If you already have experience of working with young people that would be a bonus, however if you have no experience as yet, the school will still consider your application.

Requirements:

  • Assisting in delivering effective teaching on a one-to-one basis or in small groups
  • Helping with the planning and delivery of lessons
  • Supporting the development of pupils, educational and behaviour
  • Preparing classroom resources

You will be working across a range of age groups from Year 7-Year 11, it is therefore important that you feel confident supporting students up to the age of 16 (KS4).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
