Position: Graduate Teaching Assistant

Role Overview:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with classroom teachers to support the learning and progress of students. You will assist with classroom activities, provide one-on-one support to students, and contribute to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support classroom teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
  • Provide individualised support to students who may require additional assistance.
  • Assist with the preparation of learning materials and resources.
  • Foster positive relationships with students, parents/carers, and colleagues.
  • Contribute to maintaining a safe and stimulating learning environment.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Recent graduate with a degree in Education or related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for education and a commitment to student success.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire students of all abilities.
  • Commitment to continuing professional development.
  • Previous experience working in a school or educational setting as a Teaching assistant is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for working with children and supporting their educational journey
  • Willingness to collaborate as part of a team and take direction from classroom teachers.

Requirements:

  • The right to work in the UK.
  • Has or is willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
