Graduate Teaching Assistant - September 2024 Start

Location: Camden

Job Type: Contract, Full-Time

Salary: £85 - £100 Per day - in line with AWR after 12 weeks.

Protocol Education are currently working with a host of Primary Schools in Camden who are looking for Graduates to work with children with SEND.

The type of Graduate that are schools are looking for are pro-active, passionate and motivated to make a difference every day.

No prior experience is neccesary for these roles.

You will be given on the job training via the school and you will also have access to range of CPD materials through Protocol Education.

No two days are the same working in a school so you can expect a varied and rewarding role.

You will predominantly be working with children with Autism so any knowledge of ASD would be beneficial but not essential.

The most important thing is a genuine passion for making a difference to the lives of children with SEND.

Job Duties:

  • Supporting the lead teacher in delivering lessons and activities
  • Assisting with classroom management and student supervision
  • Providing one-on-one support to students with learning difficulties
  • Preparing and organising educational materials
  • Assessing student performance and providing feedback

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
